The training I provide is primarily based around residential intensive’s (see the Secrett Training Plan below). The training programmes are a minimum of two weeks, starting on a Friday and finishing on a Thursday two weeks later. The proactive puppy plans start from 1 week.

Residential training allows me to work with your dog consistently every day, creating progress that is often difficult to achieve through weekly lessons alone. Whether your dog is struggling with recall, reactivity, aggression, confidence issues, or general obedience, the intensive nature of residential training provides the time and structure needed to create meaningful, lasting change.

My process begins with a comprehensive consultation, where I assess both your dog’s behaviour and the relationship dynamics behind it. From there, your dog enters a residential training programme where I lay the foundations for lasting behavioural change. Finally, through one-to-one sessions, I teach you the principles behind the training, ensuring you have the knowledge and confidence to maintain the progress long after your dog returns home.

I offer a number of training options to suit different dogs, owners, and behavioural challenges.

Consultation

- 60 mins -
- Comfort of your own home -
- Discuss and access any issues -
- Plan steps going forward -

The behavioural consultation is the first step when accessing the relationship between the dog and owner. We will talk through your dog’s background, its behaviour, your routine and the home living situation. This will shed light on any issues, giving us what we need to make a plan going forward.

One-to-one

A one-to-one session is between me, you and your dog! This will either; teach you to train your dog after a consultation, or maintain trained behaviours after the residential. The former is akin to becoming a psychology teacher before the psychology student but there can be silver bullets for some issues.

Residential

Residential training is when your dog lives with me during a multi-week intensive training course. With undesirable deep-rooted behaviour this is the only method that reliably produces positive change. As well as the residential’s primary focus there is also time to focus on other issues you may be facing.

- Minimum of 2 weeks -
- Pick up/drop off, stays with the trainer -
- Minimal effort, time, skill needed from owner -
- Highest success rate possible -

The Secrett Training Plan

- Consultation of 60 mins -
- Residential of 2 to 4 weeks -
- 2 One-to-one training sessions -
- Whatsapp, phone or email support for life -
- Pick up/drop off for residential -

£1150 (per week)

The Secrett Training Plan combines all of the above into a complete training package and includes lifetime support. We begin with an in-depth consultation to assess your dog’s behaviour, evaluate the relationship you currently have with your dog, and discuss exactly what you would like to achieve. From there, we commence the residential training programme, where I lay the foundations for lasting behavioural change. Once the residential training is complete, we move on to the one-to-one sessions. During these sessions, I will teach you the principles behind the training and show you how to maintain the progress that has been made. Plan includes two one-to-one sessions as part of the package, which can be booked at your convenience.

This approach and the ongoing support consistently produces better long-term results than training methods that focus solely on the dog or the owner.
